 What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state which we each access in daily life. It is the relaxation of the physical body and a heightened awareness within the mind. Hypnosis is similar to the trance-like feeling we experienced when daydreaming.

In this relaxed state you are more aware of your inner feeling and able to communicate more easily with your unconscious mind. Your mind is receptive to suggestions that will help you effectively break unhelpful patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours and make powerful internal changes.

Hypnosis can allow us to become more accepting of ourselves and others and to access our inner potential; enabling personal development to flow organically to support and achieve our goals.

Whilst in trance you will always hear the practitioners voice and you are completely in control; should you wish, you can walk out at any time.

Who can be hypnotised?

Virtually everyone; however some people are more open to being hypnotised. It can depend upon the willingness to be hypnotised at the time, which itself depends upon a number of factors, including the strength of the person’s particular need to change and their trust and confidence in the practitioner.

Hypnosis or trance is among one of the oldest healing phenomena known to man; it can be found, in one form or another, in virtually every culture throughout the world.

  • not Being Gullible
  • not Sleep
  • not Being Weak-Minded
  • not Being Controlled by Someone Else
  • not Losing Self Control
